Interviews for school library Assistants

New Faces in the School Library   As the regular library assistants approach their exams interviews have taken place to appoint some new library assistants. After much interest, seven application forms were selected and interviews took place on the 11 th January 2011. The interview panel consisted of current library assistants, Donna Laver, Nichol Moore, Sarah Barber and Billy Yu, with the help of Naresh Ghale as secretary. The current assistants now move up to the post of Librarian and they will be responsible for delivering training along with Miss Hurworth. Six prospective candidates were given places as Library Assistants as they all performed excellently at their interview. Librarians are now Donna Laver, Nichol Moore, Sarah Barber and Billy Yu. Library Assistants are now Kieran McKee, Sam Madden, Richard Ambler, Joe Hardwick, Eden Gibson and Courtney Cox. Well done to all of them. Lesley Hurworth School Librarian
