Pupils were treated to a World Book Day celebration, exploring the books and authors chosen to lead this year’s WBD. We went from the comedy of Michael Lawrence’s “Jiggy McCue” books to the complex world of Philip Reeves Mortal Engines then the wonderfully funny “Spy Dog” to Ali Sparkes world of Bugs!
A great time was had by all and the pupils worked really hard and worked well in partnership with each other.
Tyler Walker said
“My favourite bit was when Richard, Austen and Elliott made a toaster with me from the book Mortal Engines”
Chloe Webster said
“The best it for me was working on the Jiggy McCue books by Michael Lawrence”
Austen Christian said
“Spy Dog was the best and I got to use my funny voice when I performed!”
