Young Enterprise at the Armthorpe School The prestigious Young Enterprise Award ceremony was held at Castle Park last night with The Armthorpe School being represented by the company “N24-7” and their product of “Mi Mug”. The team have worked all year to produce customisable mugs including a drinks range which allow the drinker to specify their drink preferences so that in big offices staff will know what everyone is drinking without remembering. They allow hand make any designs that are requested to suit any demands. The team made up of Baranse Ozturk (Managing Director), Scott Hughes (Marketing Director), Ashleigh Eastwood (Sales Director) and James Rothwell (Finance Director) had to present in front of the judges and a crowd of 300 people. The team managed to scoop 3 of the awards including “Product/Service Development Award”, “Judges Special Award” and the “Best Presentation Award” The team were supported by staff and their friends from the school and the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Clearly being enterprising has paid off for the youngsters.
