As part of the ‘RATS’ (Raising Achievement Through Sport) programme a number of Year 10 and 11 students were given the fantastic opportunity to see the Sheffield Sharks at Sheffield Arena. The Sharks were facing Everton Tigers in a BBL Championship game. Unfortunately, the Sharks were beaten in the last few minutes of the game; nevertheless, Armthorpe students thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience. Some even got the chance to shoot baskets in the half time competition.
